Queens Night at Eindhoven, Queen's day at Amsterdam!

Let Me Tell ya something : THERE IS NO PLACE IN THE WORLD YOU CAN EVER HAVE A PARTY LIKE YOU HAVE IN AMSTERDAM COS OF A SHIT LOADS OF REASONS AND YOU WILL KNOW EXACTLY WHY IN THIS POST!! WHEN AMSTERDAM GOES TO PARTY, THE DUTCH REDEFINE THE MEANING OF PARTIES!

Firstly , sorry about the long delay! Had no time to write a post as i'v been busy trying to figure out what to do next in my life! ;) And im still clueless! :P

Queen's day : Celebration of the Birthday of the previous queen of Netherland's called Queen Juliana which falls on April 30th. The current queen's name is Queen Beatrix's birthday whose birthday is on 31 January but she celebrates it officially on April 30th.

The Dutch Royal Family is also called as the " House of Orange " and that's the day the entire Netherland goes Orange! It is expected from a person to wear, either Orange or The colors of the Netherland flag ! The largest celebration is at AMSTERDAM !!!! :P This is the only information you need to know about queen's day! And also the Queen goes visiting 2 villages on her birthday!

The partying for queen's day start's at about 6 pm on the April 29th where everyone comes out of their houses and goes to the city centre to celebrate the eve of the queens bday and referred to as Queen's night and continues till the end of 30th midnight! That makes it about 30 hours of continuous partying!!!!

Party on Queen's Night Eve!

As one of ma friend Ram Prasad was leaving to India, we had dinner at his place and got some drink's like beer, wine mixed with coke, etc from the supermarket and went to a party which was organized by one of ma fren Ana! The Party was on the Attic which had 2 rooms and had no lights, but instead the room's were lit up with candles everywhere!

@ Ana's place, just looks bright because of the flash. IT was totally dark! :P

Romantic as Hell, Alcohol + Candles and No lights ! ;)

It was different. It was even difficult to see who were the people in the same room as us. However it was great. We met a lot of our friends from Spain, Italy and etc. We were there for about 2 hours and decided to go outside to celebrate the clock striking 12.

Pub Street has never ever been crowded so much!

DJ's playing from such a height overlooking all the crazy drunk ppl ! :P

We stepped out and there was no place to move. It was way too crowded in every street, people young and old, most of them dressed in orange. Pub street was overcrowded with Lights being mounted on buildings to showcase the club kinda effects on the road's! Phew, It was class !!!!! There were DJ's and loud music being played outside each pub with Dutch chick's dressed in the sexiest outfit's! To even walk about 100 feet, we took 5 minutes. We headed to a square where there was a DJ show and shit loads of people again! Man, iv never seen anyone celebrate someone else's birthday with so much love and parties! :P I wish my birthday was like that !!!!

@ The Can's of beer's left At the concert area after the crowd dispersed! Beer is the drink here!

Love the Stage and the people's spirit to party!!!
Ahhwww ! Love the crowd!!!!

Looks like the stage is on fire! :P

Awesome Stage again!

Look at the weird part : In India, on Mahatma Gandhi's birthday, there are no drinks! But here on Queen's day, everyone has to drink! Lol ! :P

The crowd outside the clubs! Sad ! Took ages to enter the club! -(

The Music on the street's stopped at about 12' midnight and we headed back to the clubs, reached one of the best one called "Thomas". There was a massive Queue to enter the clubs, as every club in pub street was overfull. We tried entering and we gave up.

Nature's Call: That's when came the "Need to go to loo, bro"! It always comes when u least expect it to come. We searched everywhere for it, but everything was shut, finally we headed back to the square and luckily found one. Man, Ma friend went to the Loo for about 4-5 minutes. Unbelievable, he went on and on and on... we were like " Wtf are you doing man". He's like " I don know dude, its not stopping !" LOL! I have no idea how and why it took so long ! Chanakya, you are the man!

He took about 5 minutes to do this! Still confused! In the right you see a girl pulling her guy out of the freakin toilet cos even he took way too long ! :P lol

We finally entered Thomas after the crowd died down and moved our body a little bit here and there and yes i dance pretty decent now unlike before :P and headed back to station to see Ram off at 4 AM.

The Crowd at Thomas! Had no place to move!

He was acting like he was upset because we guys came late to see him off but actually he was pretty senti about leaving Netherlands and that was just a reason ! ;). It was 5 AM when i got back home and had to sleep to wait for one of the most awaited days in NETHERLAND'S -> THE QUEENS DAY !!!! We were supposed to get up at 8 ! But then ...

Day 2: The Amsterdam way of Partying ! Get set to get Amazed ! Queen's day - 30th April

Ernest, Pavitra and Myself!

Rest of the Crew - Vamshi, Arpit, Poojith, Pranoop, Sahul, Chankaya, Mac, Srinidhi!

We finally got up at 11 and reached the station at about 12 pm. Unfortunately no one had anything in Orange. Even though i never wear bright colors (M kinda lame right :P), i was the only one who ended up wearing orange at that moment. We were 11 of them in total. We climbed the bus and we luckily did get place. The journey to Amsterdam was about 1 hour and 15 mins. Many people were indeed coming to Eindhoven , so we were wondering if we did a mistake or not going to Amsterdam.

We reached Amsterdam and the moment we got down the train, people were so excited/happy that they were all screaming. The railway station was crowded. We took ten minutes to get out of the station. We stepped out and it was totally orange. SO MANY PEOPLE. The public transport was shut down till 8 pm and private vehicles were not allowed. Police were present at every intersection to make sure there will be no problem. Queen's day is the day, People sell their second hand stuff from home. People put up stalls in every corner of the street and sell stuff like Book's, Accesories, multimedia gadget's for cheap prices! Also saw a IPOD 3G for about 10,000 rs!

Street's of Amsterdam! Orange is the Color of the day!

The Massive St Bernard! Random Photo Clicked because this dog was huge and cute! :)

Anyway, Luckily for me, Ernest got a cap in orange, which looks like the horns of the dinosaur on the back starting from the head till his ASS and had bells on the top of the horns. :P It was Amazing!!!!! Pavitra also decided to turn orange by buying a orange garland, some of the other's got some orange caps. We walked to Dam square (where we celebrated New year's) and visited the stall of "Gandhi" hotel and all of us ate biryani , pulav , channa n etc! Yummyy We saw a lot of Indians as usual, and saw their usual shitty attitude! :P There were crazy rides and we dint wanna go in that as we just had food and im sure i would end up puking had i even tried that ride. :P

D Canal's of Amsterdam, people everywhere!!!! Sexyyy !!

Thank god that i pushed my friends away from the rides. How could we not pass by the Red Light District (there is always something special happening there), so we went there! There were prostitutes dancing on top of the boats. FUCK WHAT A SIGHT !!!!! THE DJ's were playing music and they were dancing with all the crazy moves. Dont believe me, check the photos!!!! :)

Sex Palace! Look at the rates also! Right click on picture and open in new window! ;)

@ D Red Light Area: Do make a guess Wha one of the pros is holding! :P

Viewer Discretion Advised. Amsterdam is very liberal to Gay/Lesbians! About 100 pubs dedicated for them! :P

Also saw a Indian "Hare Ram Group" in the street's of Amsterdam. But there were only foreigners in that. :P

Other bands with drums and etc. Ahhh, Coming back to the RED LIGHT DISTRICT, Only some of the windows were occupied cos i think even the prostitutes took a holiday. :P Mind you, IT IS LEGAL PROFESSION HERE!

PARTY LIKE THE DUTCH !!!!!

The difference Lies here, QUEEN's DAY is THE WORLD'S BIGGEST STREET PARTY IN THE WORLD ..

and THIS IS WHAT PEOPLE SAY " If you only visit Amsterdam once in your life, make sure your visit coincides with April 30. "

This is how every street of Amsterdam looks like on Queen's day! Right outside one of a bar!

IF YOU WANT TO PARTY, PARTY LIKE THE DUTCH

People own boats here and some of them rent it on Queen's day. People create a group of friends and grab how much ever alcohol they can, get some music system and speakers and play loud music and roam in the canals of Amsterdam. Its only if you are very lucky that you have some shot of jumping into a boat. People have Barbeque parties on boats, drink beer's and look at all the visitor's from the street's. There must be like thousand's of boat's cruising through the canal's of Amsterdam. Some boats are so fast that they go at full speed next to the other boats which are slow that, they splash so much water on the other boats. Amazing !!!!! This is how you should party! -( Someday i hope i will ..

Canal's filled wid Boats!!! AmazinG Sight!!!!

This is the perfect place to get high!!

BBQ's , Drinks, Bring them along and have a hell of a time!!

After repenting on not gettin into the boats (had a chance),We headed to "Museumplein". It's a square at Amsterdam where 20 international DJ's were about to play including DJ's like Tiesto and singers like Rio. The problem with Amsterdam is it is Freaking confusing with canals everywhere. You feel you have come back to the same place. As there were no buses or trams we had to go walking and getting through the crowd was difficult. We finally reached Museumplein and made our way through the crowd and almost reached till the stage and man oh man, the crowd was unimaginable. The estimated crowd just at that ground was half a million (5 lakh people) and people dressed mostly in Orange. Unimaginable and Unforgettable.

TIESTO - PLAYED FOR 1 hour and completed our day!!!

Surrounded by babes, beer's, entered the Legend "TIESTO" and he was so fuckin amazing. Even words are not enough to express how he played. IT was legendary!!!! I have never been in a place with so many people in my life and the music was mindblowing. It finally got over about 8 pm and we walked back to the station once again and man it was so far. We climed the train back at about 10 and reached back Eindhoven at about 11:30. I still wanted to hit the clubs but my friends were not ready !!!

The Greatest DJ in the World - TIESTO!!

Anyway the next few months are gonna be amazing as well because the next big thing i am going to is called " WHITE SENSATION " and have a look at its Photo's... :P

The NEXT Big Thing " White Sensation " !

Waiting, Waiting, Waiting ..

AMSTERDAM - ONE PLACE YOU HAVE TO VISIT IN YOUR LIFE, ATLEAST ONCE! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
