The Neva Endin Journey

Hello again! Just when i thought exams are out of my life, came the last exam of my studies in Netherlands which was so difficult that i think i might have to write it again! These exams will never leave my life .... But one thing is for sure, i might end up being jobless looking at the current situation of IT industry but i will never ever study again.

The last few days have been sad! My good friends from France and Poland left Eindhoven for good and i only wonder when they would come back next! Left here in Eindhoven are Indians and Spanish who party hard but for those who left, they will be missed. But one thing for sure is, I will be visiting France and Poland before i come back to India! I desperately need a break!

First day in Philips:

Can u imagine i got through Philips Research for my thesis?!!!! and how ? MAGIC !!!
I myself have no idea how i got into this company! Phew .... ! Its fun to work with scientists when they think you know everything when you know absolutely nothing!

I was so excited that i never slept. Everything was perfect. Reached the station on time, caught the bus and it started snowing! What a way to start the first day for my thesis! The first day was cool with both good and sad things,

The good news :
Unlimited Coffee, Warm chocolate, biscuits!
Gtalk works!!!

The sad things :
At lunch time, i Had to have lunch alone. I do not know anyone in this campus so i am all alone and it sucks big time. I am surrounded by about 5 other students who are all brilliant and who do not do anything other than work on the comps 24/7.
I am not used to this silence with no one uttering a word. But im sure as time passes by, we will be good friends! :) and yes Facebook / orkut is banned ! The moment you sign in, it automatically signs out! What in the world will i do ? Everyone is so serious and doing their own work and Me ... well i can hardly concentrate. My first month is for studying some books and papers and deriving something from it. How do i derive something new from something i do not even understand! :P !! But its fun. It's a challenge and i am up for it.
My mentors are very nice and helpful and they are brilliant! In some year's from now, i hope i will be somewhere in their league!

Talking about other things, i have been eating a lot!
I finally learnt how to do chicken chilly and it rocked!!!! If you ever want chilly chicken, i wil give you the items you need to get from the store and i will cook for you! :P

Parties going strong: The earlier week was crazy! We had a party on the Tuesday( as the french were leaving ) , party on the wednesday ( as the polish were leaving ) and thursday, friday, saturday, we were in pub street!

As of now, i'm waiting to see how much stipend would i get from philips for my thesis. But as im working now, all this fun is going to reduce! I hope i am going to get serious in life now atleast but it this doesnt look like its going to happen very soon as i am writing this blog post from the office. Right from engineering, i have always decided to get serious! Looking at my marks in the first exams of engineering, i decided to sit in the first bench! I did that for 2 days! After that came Mtech in Manipal! I vowed that i will study and do my best but Pool, Counter strike, Partying took over and there i was back to square again! After that in Netherlands i decided to become serious again in life! But it never happened!

Here are some of the snaps of the last parties we had, it was amazing ...... Perfect! Some were crying, some were enjoying.. All in all .. it was fun! It was worth the six months with all of them. But all the good things in life, dont last. Its sometimes amazing to see how soon you become close to someone in less than 6 months, from total stranger's and to end up being great friends..
Who said Indians cant mix well with other international students? :)

Yah ! Eventually People Pass out ! :P

On a general note with everything happening in India regarding Valentine's day,

how many of you people know, MUTHALIK is not married and no " woman " has ever liked him .. so he is against Valentine's day! N he must be gay!!!!
