Below is the video of the first time i ever tried skating in my life ! Total Disaster !!!! The rule is never ever skate the first time with a camera around !

Details : Ernest in the one who comes crashing into everyone ! I was the one who did a somersault because i could not balance ! This video was taken in the first ten mins of entering the ring of death ! ;) The last guy who fell, thought he was awesome in skating ( arpit ) who had an amazing fall after such a great start! lol ..

Well as the legacy goes, It rarely snows in Netherlands! It seems it snowed last year for 2 days and then it did not snow before that for three years! As i am from India, that too from the southern part where temperature reaches a minimum of 24 degree and also knowing the fact that it rarely snows here in Netherlands i had literally given up on ever seeing Snow!

But 22nd of November 2008, Changed my life !!!!



Meanwhile, i'v just begun to understand that the happiness you always get in life is proportional to the sadness which will be waiting for you in the near future. Immediately after this snowfall i got ill! Got fever, cold, throat infection and shivering in the nights. After that i lost my wallet! So was screwed even more. But then again came a good part! I got internship in Philips Research! So the conclusion iv reached is my luck factor has increased exponentially! ;)

This was the scene i saw when i got up. Click on the picture, you can see the snow flakes falling down. Cars totally covered in snow , roads so slippery ! So Beautiful ! You just cannot stop looking at it.

So how does snow feel: MINDBLOWING ! Im telling you guys, if you have never seen snow and it is the first time, it feels really really special! You just cannot stop smiling! For the first time, you actually feel great going out! ( unlike the rains back home ) You do not get wet, but you get covered! You get out and these tiny snow flakes hit your face and sends a shiver down your body! Well yes the temperature was -4 degrees! ;)




This is my friend Vamshi and rajeev picking up snow and throwing at each other. It sure doesnt hurt if it falls on your jacket. But if it hits your face or some part of your body uncovered,you are defn in for a good beating! ;) This is a beautiful snap! Click on it to see the enlarged one ;) Perfect timing. This place is actually a ground for people to walk and for the dogs to shit ! So i just hope these guys dint pick up snow with dog shit inside it ! ;)

This happened to be the first day of the snow fall, so it was not so thick on the ground! But as the days happened to pass by, it became better, bigger and more awesome and the chances of slipping and falling was even more. :)







Well this the size of one of the snow balls we made. After posing for this snap , least did i know i would be the victim of this attack. Ignore the hair as i'v cut it now! ;) The guy next to me is Vamshi who is holding the snow ball and he is the perfect Indian Chef ! You need to eat what he prepares! Makes me feel like i am at home, food like butter chicken to biryani to chicken tandoori to chicken hyderabadi! Simply Wow !


This is the view of the street from my place ! Ignore the hair again ! I just had an 10 euro haircut a few days back ! Well 10 euros is equal to abt 650 Rs !!! In India i used to go for an haircut every 1 and a half month and that to for just 15 rs ! For a single haircut here , i could have cut my hair for about 4 years in India ! :) Conclusion : Only come to Netherlands for a holiday if you are a millionare ! But luckily for us the stipend we get for living here covers all the expenses ! :)

Notice carefully .. u can see the snow flakes 2 .. WEll i have a big problem in my laptop that i am using ! My monitor is dead , i can only see it if i press the screen very hard. So as of now , i cannot see what i am typing .. but as soon as im done typing, i press the monitor to see if there are any mistakes or not ! Sad pre-historic life ! ;)




A snap of a snow man which was made by some children who stay in the same block as i do! The eyes are light bulbs and the arms are the twigs of the trees! Smart, talented kids I must say ! People really do make a lot of use of some of the only times it snows here! Standing behind is my friend Emelio who's from Spain! Hopefully that will be my next tourist destination. My trip to Amsterdam is going to happen in a week's time! But Mehaal is going to be a good boy as i will be travelling with my sister and her husband, Shaokat! Finally me n my sister are going to meet outside India and as the legacy goes once again " I'v always made her cry everytime i meet her" and it will defn happen again if she doesnt shop for me ! The last time i made her cry because she was leaving India! I just hope she shops for me ! :( plz pray wid me !!!! he he !!!!

This was after the second day of snow ! There was so much snow that we could not walk at all. Cycles where impossible to take ... !!!










This was the view on the main road ! I wonder how these people with the cars were driving. It was so damn slippery that even walking was not possible !











This would be the last snap of the post !!!! This snap is the perfect meaning of " tragedy " !! As you can see the cycles in the picture .... After taking the snap and i got back home and checked the photos on my computer, i realised that my cycle was not in the picture ! WELL INFACT IT GOT STOLEN !!!! Someone stole my cycle and the worst part was it was already punctured !!! I seriously wonder why would someone steal a punctured cycle !! What the fuck !!!!!!! lol lol !! Now i'v got no cycle and the guys who steal cycles for 10 euros near the station are also missing , so i go walking everyday to college !! Pre-historic life again ! From car -> cycle -> walking !!
